Thanks A.net, the 'decoration' really is really nice - I just love the grinning moon. It's just too bad that I missed out on the party.

Can we have more options, like "Show Only in Towns and Outposts" for example (cause thats the only time I'd want my cape to show on some of my characters).
i thought that was a feature in the new update, or am i mistaken?

On the note Lion's Arch looks great, also THANK YOU for the toggle capes and hats at long last... now I can finally show off my 15K Armor again which a flat bit of paper behind me... only in towns... outside its nice to show off.
90%? What a loada rubbish, just because your timezone couldn't attend, you don't count for 90% of the GW Population, if they did it in your timezone were you could get on, there'd be a lot of people who couldn't attend either - either way, whenever it was, there'd still be people who couldn't come.

Still, great job A-Net, love the Moons in LA and the Tombs, and the nice web wrapping on the poor 'ole Traders of Lion's Arch.

Although to make it better, you could've spiced up Ascalon City, to give the new players of GW who get outta pre-searing or the new'ish players a big spook.

I'd like to give thanks also, the Halloween updates are very cool and it just shows the community that you still care about keeping us entertained. I am always amazed at the effort Anet puts into this game while other online game companies could care less about their customers once you buy the original game.

I'm pretty sure this game is the best 50 bucks I've ever spent in software.
I can finally take off my cape, such a small thing makes me very happy!, now beach parties make more sense :P

For us, it was the idea that the Dev team took the *time* to progam the decorations (in addition to the bug fixes). That speaks of support and caring above and beyond!

So thanks Anet!

Yes, the good news is they'll be able to recycle the graphics from here on out on a yearly basis, so its not just a one off thing

Sure it's just decorations and I would personally prefer observor mode but it's still nice to go to LA and see people running around all excited like at the end of the beta's. It seems this update was mostly artwork so I doubt it slowed down progress on better guild features or observor mode. I definitely enjoyed running around droknars and LA looking at the new artwork. This is coming from about as hardcore a PvP fan as you can be (I haven't even been to sorrow's furnace yet .... shoot, I don't even know where it is nor do I care ). So definitely a nice job on Anet's part. Furthermore, periodic updates like this keep the community active which is good for the game as a whole (both PvP and PvE). I'm looking forward to the giant turkey on thanksgiving and exploding reindeer for christmas

Gaile and Devs:

Great update. loved partying in Lions Arch most of the night when i was inbetween guild runs in tombs. I slept too late and was late for work, wel ltalk about reinbersement later

One suggestion though,,, Since the Hall of hereos is where you go when you die and the Tombs of the Primevil Kings is the entrance to the halls, could we possibly have the spirits floating around the halls after the halloween update? seems fitting.

Thanks again for the awesome update. my monk looks a lot better running without a cape and my warrior fighting without his helm and my ele without her flaming red thingy floating in the middle of her forehead. and for fixing that annoying Thunderclap bug. Now i can finalyl go back to CA again.
